All About Me
I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I completed an Honours Bachelor of Science, specializing in Psychology at the University of Toronto, and then moved to Vancouver, where I obtained my Masters of Counselling Psychology degree at Adler University. Since completing my degrees, I have obtained a number of additional certifications and continuing education courses to broaden my skillset. These are listed below:

In addition to my formal training and my community, I believe that the ups and downs of my journey have fueled my passion to help people around me explore and identify their inner strengths and resources, evolve by developing self-awareness, and learning coping strategies, and embarking on a new journey, where they feel comfortable to be themselves and reach their full potential.

My approach

In my years of experience providing counselling and psychotherapy, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals and have come to understand that while we may struggle with similar issues, we are all unique. Therefore, I tailor my therapeutic approach with this in mind.
My therapy approach is holistic and integrative to help you understand how your past has shaped your present. We talk about where and who you have been, but primarily focus on where you want to go and what will help you get there. In my sessions, I draw upon the following approaches:

My therapy approach is also collaborative, meaning that I don't just give advice or tell you what you need to do and your active participation is very important. Together, we could work towards identifying the patterns that are limiting your life and developing tools that you need in order to reach your potential.
I strive to provide a safe, inclusive, and compassionate environment to explore difficult or painful thoughts and feelings. I believe that while we can't always control the waves of life, we can gain greater control over how we relate to our experiences, thereby riding the waves with greater ease.
